ADAMS, Ohio-The Adams County Community Foundation will award 35 scholarships to students attending college or trade school, thanks to generous donors who established four endowment funds.
The C.E. Smith Family Scholarship Fund will grant 16 scholarships, including recipients pursuing degrees in computer science, cosmetology, food science and technology, physical therapy assistant program, music technology, exercise science, education, radiology, psychology, business agriculture, business marketing, education-math, and chemical engineering. This fund has awarded 26 scholarships since its establishment in 2022.
The Charles Hugh McGovney Scholarship Fund, established in 2021, has awarded six scholarships, including two for this year. Recipients are majoring in education-math and pursuing a pharmacy degree.
Overall, these scholarships support students from Adams County in pursuing their educational goals and have made a significant impact on their academic journeys.
