YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio-On November 19, nearly 2,400 books were delivered to three elementary schools in Boardman for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This is part of the Boardman-Youngstown Kiwanis Club’s Eisenbraun Books for Kids Program, which provides monthly book deliveries to elementary schools in Boardman and Youngstown through the end of the school year. The program allows students to take home a book each month, fostering a love of reading and family bonding. The initiative honors Kiwanis member Tom Eisenbraun and aims to promote confidence and lifelong reading habits. Boardman Director of Instruction, Jared Cardillo, expressed gratitude for the program’s impact on students and families.
