Cincinnati Public Schools: Gun Found During Search at Stargel Stadium

CINCINNATI, Ohio-Cincinnati Public Schools announced that a weapon was discovered during a search of Stargel Stadium, conducted in collaboration with Cincinnati police. While the exact location of the gun within the stadium remains unclear, the district stated that if a student is found responsible, they could face disciplinary actions under the CPS Code of Conduct, including suspension or expulsion, as well as potential criminal charges. This search follows the postponement of a football game at Stargel Stadium due to a shooting incident nearby, where a 13-year-old Taft High School student was shot shortly after school dismissal. Stargel Stadium serves as the home field for Taft, Shroder, and other local schools. Currently, there are no changes to games scheduled for this week.
