TOLEDO, Ohio-Jeremy Chesser, a former Maumee foster parent and Springfield Township firefighter, pleaded guilty in federal court to charges including child exploitation and distributing child pornography. He entered the plea deal in the U.S. District Court of Northern Ohio in Toledo and is scheduled for sentencing on November 4. Chesser also faces 19 other charges in Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, including gross sexual imposition, endangering children, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and pandering obscenity involving a minor. He was a foster parent with several children at the time of his arrest in August of last year.
