INDIAN LAKE, Ohio-The Indian Lake High School Symphonic Band achieved two prestigious awards at the Music In the Parks Competition in Hershey, Pennsylvania. They received a Superior I rating and second place overall in the contest, along with the Esprit de Corps Award for demonstrating proper social and musical behavior. The band, consisting of 45 members, is directed by Mr. Jason Fauley with assistance from Mrs. Morissa Sweeney.
Additionally, the Indian Lake High School Chorale earned a Superior (I) rating at the District 11 Ohio Music Education Association Large Group Adjudicated State event. The chorale, comprising over 80 members, is directed by Mrs. Tracey Notestine and accompanied by Mrs. Shirley McPherson.
