Indian Lake Library Receives 1,200 Books from Upper Arlington Students

COLUMBUS, Ohio-After an EF3 tornado destroyed the Indian Lake Library earlier this year, Upper Arlington elementary students from Wickliffe Progressive Elementary made a significant contribution to aid in its recovery. The tornado, which struck on March 14, resulted in the library losing nearly all of its collection, leaving only about 150 items that were checked out. The students donated approximately 1,200 books and created inspirational bookmarks. This donation has helped the library rebuild to about 50% of its pre-tornado collection. The library continues to accept monetary and material donations, requesting that donated books be newer than five years old.
