WEST PORTSMOUTH, Ohio-Portsmouth West Elementary School impressed Intel with their community spirit during the passage of a super load in March, prompting Intel to offer to host a future STEM camp. The camp, held on a gray and rainy day, brought together farm animals, equipment, and technology to inspire future innovation.
Intel employee Emily Smith emphasized the importance of exposing children to STEAM activities, aiming to prepare them for the digital future. Fourth grader Tice Lore expressed excitement about the unique experience of cheering on the super load. The event also saw participation from local organizations like the 4H club, Huntington Bank, and Velvet Ice Cream.
