LIMA, Ohio-Lima’s North Middle School students experienced hands-on historical education with the “Our History Era Tour” as the school year concluded. Fifth and sixth graders immersed themselves in the American Revolution, Civil War, and Western Expansion eras.
Educators found that the interactive activities captivated students’ attention during the final days of classes, helping them retain information. Students eagerly participated, even dressing up for the occasion and enjoying photo opportunities in various historical settings. The hands-on learning approach proved effective in engaging students, making it a valuable experience at the end of the school year.
