Marysville pizza Shop Raising Money for Students after school Levy Fails

MARYSVILLE, Ohio -Buckeye Family Pizzeria in Marysville is raising funds to help students afford extracurricular activities after a recent tax levy for Marysville Schools failed. The district announced that, due to the levy’s failure, there will be larger class sizes, program cuts, and higher fees for extracurriculars. Co-owners David Cowan and Chuck Ross felt compelled to assist students, ensuring that no one is left out due to financial constraints. The levy failed by just 351 votes, and while Ross was disappointed by the result, he remains optimistic about finding a solution. The pizzeria is now collecting donations both in-store and online to support this cause.
