COLUMBUS, Ohio-Two men, Shyler Swank and Christopher Dumont, were charged after allegedly shooting a father holding his 10-month-old child in the parking lot of a Kroger in Whitehall on Sunday evening. The father was shot in the nose but survived, while the child was unharmed despite a bullet narrowly missing her. The incident occurred after Swank and Dumont reportedly harassed the father’s family inside the store. Swank allegedly fired several shots while Dumont recorded the event. The father’s fiancée, who is seven months pregnant, was also nearby but not injured. Both men were arrested shortly after the shooting, with Swank charged with felonious assault and Dumont charged with complicity. Swank is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
