Students believed to be behind threats against a local school district are facing charges and school disciplinary action.
Fayette Local Schools Superintended told 13 Action News Monday that students responsible for making verbal threats against the district before its Homecoming celebration last week are facing charges. Additional details about the nature of the threats are unknown.
A statement from the school district said school administrators, including the technology supervisor, and Fayette Police investigated the threat and found it to be not credible.
