TWINSBURH, Ohio-A lightning strike at Twinsburg High School on Sunday morning caused a disruption in the district’s power supply, leading to the cancellation of all classes for Monday. Repair efforts cannot begin until Monday due to the need for necessary parts. The district’s phones, fire alarms, suppression systems, and HVAC systems, all reliant on internet servers housed at the high school, are currently inoperable.
As a result, all classes were canceled for Monday, except for AP exams in U.S. government and politics, art history, and chemistry, which will be administered at SS Cosmas & Damian School as scheduled. Students requiring personal transportation should email the district’s transportation office before 7 a.m. Monday. Classes at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center will continue as usual, with transportation provided.
