BOARDMAN, Ohio-Boardman schools were recognized by the National Association of Music Merchants as one of the “best communities for music education” in the U.S. Their commitment to music education begins in kindergarten and continues through high school. With 12 music teachers, 10 of whom hold master’s degrees, and a specialized approach to instruction, students receive high-quality education in 13 ensembles.
Boardman offers a variety of music programs, including strings, band, and choir, with instruments provided and private lessons encouraged. The district’s music department benefits from its own performing arts center and strong support from both teachers and parents. With a history of dedication to music education since the 1970s, Boardman continues to prioritize and excel in this area.
