COLUMBUS, Ohio-Andrew Brown, a volunteer teacher at Worthington Adventist Academy, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography after an investigation by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Authorities discovered over 1000 images on Brown’s IP address during their probe.
Brown confessed to downloading child pornography, stating he watched it in Jamaica. Authorities seized 21 devices from his apartment. Although Brown passed background checks, the school stressed he was never an employee, only a volunteer. Officials assured parents that no student at the school or church was abused by him and are cooperating with investigators.
