BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-Jill Carr and Ginny Stewart, members of the Bowling Green Board of Education, were commended during a recent meeting for their dedication and resilience over eight years of service. Their colleagues praised their endurance, while the teachers’ union president lauded their consistent support for educators.
Additionally, they were recognized for their ability to maintain strength and civility, even amidst challenges. Board President Ryan Myers highlighted significant achievements during their tenure, including hiring a superintendent, receiving record donations, enhancing student safety, and passing a bond issue for a new high school.
