CORTLAND, Ohio-State Senator Sandra O’Brien announced a $2.15 million allocation from Ohio’s One-Time Strategic Community Investment Fund (OTSCIF) for a new emergency services and administration complex in Cortland.
The facility will integrate fire, police, and administrative departments. Additionally, Holy Trinity Orthodox Christian Academy and Preschool in Warren will receive $1 million for energy-efficient and infrastructure upgrades. The OTSCIF, part of Ohio’s operating budget, aims to support community projects that may not qualify under traditional capital budgets, marking the initial phase of funding distribution this spring.
