Lakewood High School was placed under a modified lockdown Thursday morning after a threat was reported, according to a statement from the school district.
Christine Gordillo, communications and public relations coordinator for Lakewood City Schools, said officials became aware of the threat around 10:15 a.m. and initiated the lockdown as a precaution.
