LORAIN, Ohio-Eight windows at Larkmoor Elementary School in Lorain were shattered just before the start of the new school year. Police were notified on August 31st that rocks were thrown through the windows. Although nothing was stolen, the damage was significant, affecting large picture windows in several classrooms. The windows have been boarded up, and security cameras captured the vandalism. The video evidence has been provided to the police, who have some leads but are asking for public assistance. The school district is enhancing security measures and will update families about the incident soon.
