RRHS Student Earns Perfect ACT Score

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio-Jane Rathbun, a junior at Rocky River High School, achieved a perfect score of 36 on the ACT, earning recognition with a Special Resolution at a Board of Education meeting. This feat is rare, as less than one-half of 1-percent of students who take the ACT achieve a perfect score.

The ACT assesses knowledge in English, mathematics, reading, and science, with scores ranging from 1 to 36 for each section. The composite score, which is the average of these four scores, reflects a student’s overall performance. The optional writing test has a separate score and is not included in the composite score.
