A former school health care clinic aide at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Elementary School will be sentenced Wednesday in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.
In November 2024, Danielle Kovacs, 42, pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with records and five counts of theft of drugs.
According to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley, Kovacs stole medicine meant for students, falsely documented medication amounts in the school logs, and replaced the stolen medication with different medication that was not prescribed to the child.
