As students return to class, community leaders from various organizations, including Lima City Schools, AAA, and the Lima Police Department, are urging motorists to stay vigilant. Cindy Nelson from AAA emphasized the importance of being aware of children on the roads, especially with increased school bus traffic and pedestrians. Jill Ackerman, superintendent of Lima City Schools, noted that traffic laws are crucial not only during school hours but also for after-school activities.
