CINCINNATI, Ohio-All six unions within Cincinnati Public Schools have withdrawn support for Superintendent Iranetta Wright, marking the first time in the district’s history. The unions include teachers, office professionals, administrators, and various other staff.
They cite issues such as lack of collaboration and micromanagement as reasons for their vote of “no confidence.” While symbolic, the unions’ stance may influence the upcoming special meeting of the Cincinnati Board of Education scheduled for Wednesday, May 15.
