CINCINNATI, Ohio-Two of the three teenagers involved in the sexual assault case at Wyoming High School last year have agreed to plea deals, pleading guilty to charges of abduction and hazing. One of them also pleaded guilty to felonious assault. The plea deals resulted in the dismissal of two counts of kidnapping.
They are scheduled to appear in court again on April 24. The third teen retained new counsel and will return to court on April 17. The incident, described by the Hamilton County Prosecutor as “every parent’s worst nightmare,” involved three 15-year-old males assaulting a classmate in the high school locker room. The victim was removed against his will multiple times, leading to kidnapping charges for all three suspects. The hazing charge, deemed unusual but appropriate, was also included. The school superintendent expressed horror at the incident, and all three suspects face potential expulsion from school.
