A new bill looks to protect kids from entering the workforce prematurely. A freshman state lawmaker from Lucas County, Erika White (D-Springfield Township), hopes her first bill introduced in Columbus will help crack down on child labor violations. The Clock Kids Out Act would expand investigations into child labor violation reports, increase penalties, and bring educators into the mix.
