Path of Total Solar Eclipse to Cross Ohio on Monday

April 8th, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio-A total solar eclipse, the first in over 200 years in Ohio, is set to occur on Monday afternoon, attracting millions of viewers across the state. Lasting approximately three minutes and 40 seconds, the eclipse’s path of totality runs just north of Columbus.

Meanwhile, Indian Lake Brewing Company hosted an eclipse-themed viewing party, offering eclipse-themed brews such as “Summer Sunset” and “235 Seconds” schwarzbier, named after the duration of totality. Despite outdoor seating limitations due to a recent tornado, attendees enjoyed the spectacle with enthusiasm.
