A 39-year-old Akron woman was sentenced Thursday to life in prison with no chance of parole for the rape of an infant. The sentencing of Kristina Jacobson comes about two weeks after a Summit County jury found her guilty of one count of rape; two counts of illegal use of child or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance; and one count of gross sexual imposition.
