MANSFIELD, Ohio-The Ashland City Schools board of education approved raises for various substitute positions at its recent meeting. Substitute teachers will see their daily pay increase from $85 to $110. Substitute bus drivers’ hourly rate was raised from $12.50 to $16. Additionally, substitute certified personnel such as custodians and cafeteria workers had their pay increased from minimum wage to either $13 or $14 per hour.
