BEACHWOOD, Ohio-A 16-year-old boy was found trespassing in a vacant unit at The Vantage apartments on Cedar Road. Police responded to a report of him entering the unit by climbing over a balcony rail. Inside, officers discovered him smoking a cigarette with evidence of marijuana and an old mattress in the room. The boy falsely claimed to live there and said he had purchased the unit with a friend. It was revealed that he and his family had been evicted from The Vantage previously. Police arrested him for trespassing, marijuana possession, and underage liquor possession. He was later charged again for trespassing after being found near the community room without permission.
