A Cincinnati school resource officer on the city’s East Side, remembered by fellow officers for his big brother mentorship with the children he served, died Saturday after a medical emergency. Marcellus Jones, 33, served as a school resource officer across Cincinnati’s East Side, assigned to Clark Montessori High School in Hyde Park but rotating across other schools in the area.
