CINCINNATI, Ohio-Jessie Matheny, site director for KinderCare’s Champions program at Madeira Elementary School, has received the prestigious Educational Excellence Award from KinderCare Learning Companies, becoming one of only 27 teachers nationwide to earn this honor. With over 42,000 teachers across its brands, KinderCare had more than 400 nominations, highlighting Matheny’s exceptional passion and dedication to early childhood education. Becki Johnson, Champions area manager, praised Matheny for her ability to build strong relationships with students and families, tailoring her teaching to meet their unique needs. In addition to her classroom work, Matheny organizes various family events, including open houses and talent shows, fostering community engagement.
