A 10-year-old boy who was hospitalized after being shot Friday night has died, Cleveland police confirmed.
Police say the shooting occurred in the 3900 block of East 147th Street. Officers were dispatched to the area around 7:51 p.m. and found the boy with a gunshot wound to the head. The child was then taken to the city’s Fourth District police station by private auto before EMS officials say he was provided medical care and transported by ambulance to UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.
