COLUMBUS, Ohio-Ryan Cook, MBA, LSSBB, SFO, has been appointed as the new Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Columbus City Schools. With over 20 years of experience in school finance, Cook most recently served as CFO at Tiffin City Schools. He brings a wealth of expertise in managing budgets exceeding $65 million and developing strategic plans to enhance educational programs. Cook’s appointment, approved during a special meeting, includes a three-year contract starting on August 1, 2024. His vision emphasizes collaboration with the Board, community engagement, and advancing student achievement.
