On Friday morning, a teacher from the Columbus City Schools district was identified as the individual who passed away as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Interstate 270.
According to a statement released by the school district, Jared Jackson was a physical education teacher at Winterset and Lincoln Park Elementary School. He “was a dedicated champion for youth,” and his life “was a testament to the power of service and leadership,” as stated in the statement.
