CLEVELAND, Ohio-Copley-Fairlawn Middle School is easing the transition for fifth graders with a welcoming orientation event hosted by WEB leaders (Where Everybody Belongs). Eighth graders act as mentors and friends to the new students, creating a supportive and festive atmosphere. The program, now in its fifth year, has proven successful, with many seventh graders vying for the role of WEB leader. The initiative helps new students feel excited and included, fostering a positive start to middle school.
