Euclid Parents Want Answers From Daycare After 4-Year-Old Son Wandered Away

EUCLID, Ohio-The parents of a 4-year-old boy, diagnosed with autism, are seeking answers after he managed to leave his daycare for nearly half an hour without anyone noticing. Georgie was found playing outside in a parking lot near another daycare, approximately 700 feet away from Hannah’s Child Development Center. His mother, Basia Tanori, received a call from the police informing her that her son was safe, which shocked her as she believed he was still at daycare. Security footage showed Georgie playing in a puddle for about 20 minutes before being spotted by a driver who returned him to the staff at Early Achievers Daycare. Tanori expressed frustration over the daycare’s lack of supervision and stated she would no longer use their services. Hannah’s has a history of minor code violations, including a past incident of leaving a child unsupervised, which was corrected.
