March 23rd,2024-WAYNESVILLE, Ohio- A 27-year-old woman is facing charges in connection with the abuse and neglect of a two-year-old.
Alyssa Blair, 27, of Franklin, was indicted on two counts of endangering children and one count of felonious assault, according to Warren County court records.
Prosecutor David Fornshell says the investigation started when Blair went to the emergency room with the two-year-old.
The child had numerous injuries including a broken collarbone, a broken arm, significant bruising to the head and face, and an eye injury, the prosecutor explained. Blair’s explanation for the child’s injuries, like she got hurt at daycare, didn’t add up, according to Prosecutor Fornshell.
