With its season on the line, the Kenton Ridge High School softball team never wavered. Trailing Lexington 3-2 with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, Cougars sophomore Chloe Glass tied the game with a triple. The Lady Lex opted to walk the bases loaded and sophomore Jayden Davis bashed a single to the wall, scoring Glass to give Kenton Ridge a 4-3 victory over Lexington in a Division IV state semifinal game on Wednesday morning at Firestone Stadium in Akron.
