High School Teams From Beachwood, Shaker Head to National History Day’s 50th Anniversary

BEACHWOOD, Ohio-Cleveland, the birthplace of National History Day, will be strongly represented at the event’s 50th anniversary, as two east side high schools secured first and second places in Ohio. Beachwood High’s juniors Elizabeth Liu and Radha Pareek won the state with their performance

“The Epitome of Counterintelligence and Counterespionage.” They will join other students at the national competition in College Park, Md., focusing on “turning points in history” from June 9-13.
