COLUMBUS, Ohio-Every Wednesday morning, Liberty Middle School in Newark becomes a hub of positivity thanks to the Kindness Crew, a group of students dedicated to spreading cheer. Born from the school’s Student Council, the Kindness Crew gathers early to prepare colorful signs and fun hats to welcome their peers with smiles as they arrive. Principal Brent Fickes often joins in, adding to the lively atmosphere. The initiative, organized by the student council each year, has become a beloved tradition, fostering a strong sense of community and uplifting spirits at the school.
