Lima City Schools Sharing Available Resources With non-English-Speaking Students

LIMA, 0hio-Lima City Schools recently held an International Resource Fair aimed at supporting non-English-speaking students and their families. The event provided access to various community resources, including tutoring services, healthcare information, and support from organizations like The Salvation Army.

With a significant increase in non-English-speaking students, the fair aimed to ensure all families had access to essential resources for their children’s success. Organizers emphasized the importance of overcoming language barriers to connect families with vital services and support. The English Learning Development Program offers tailored support until students achieve proficiency in English.
