CINCINNATI, Ohio-Marco Melendez, former music director at Queen of Apostles Parish Family in Cincinnati, has been terminated from his position following criminal charges filed against him in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The charges, including child enticement and third-degree sexual assault, stem from incidents alleged to have occurred between 2016 and 2019. Father Alex McCullough made the decision to dismiss Melendez after receiving information about the charges on June 25. Melendez had been hired in February 2024, five years after the alleged incidents occurred.
