BELLAIRE, Ohio-Cameron Cothran, a 38-year-old resident of Bellaire, has been indicted on charges including involuntary manslaughter after his one-year-old daughter died from fentanyl exposure. Cothran initially dropped off the baby at East Ohio Regional Hospital, where she was found covered in a substance identified as fentanyl.
The baby was already in cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead in Pittsburgh a few days later. Cothran, who was raising the child alone, has also been charged with child endangerment, drug possession, and evidence tampering. He is currently held without bond in the Belmont County Jail.
