CLEVELAND, Ohio-Cleveland police are seeking a man identified as a “person of interest” in the hit-and-run death of seven-year-old Amir Maclin. On August 16, Amir was riding his skateboard in the parking lot of the Lakeshore Beach Apartments when he was struck by a large SUV, which fled the scene. The abandoned SUV was found the next day. Amir’s mother, Rayshawnda Maclin, described her son as a joyful and enthusiastic child who loved various activities and was a great older brother. A memorial for Amir is growing outside the apartment complex.
