The Satanic Temple announced plans to start a religious release time program in Marysville Schools as Ohio lawmakers debate a bill requiring school districts to allow such programs. The program, called the Hellions Academy for Independent Learning (HAIL), will begin at Edgewood Elementary in the Marysville Exempted Village School District in December. The Temple’s program will offer off-campus religious instruction once a month, focusing on teaching self-directed learning, community service, compassion, empathy, problem-solving skills, and other values.
