For high school sports, guidelines based on WetBulb Globe Temperature readings are used to adjust practice and game conditions. This includes monitoring factors like temperature, humidity, and wind to determine safe practices, such as shorter practices and frequent water breaks. Other school districts are also implementing measures to handle the heat.
