CHAGRIN, Ohio-One-year-old McKenna Kranek, undergoing chemotherapy for a rare lung cancer, received a surprise playset in her backyard, a joint effort by Kaulig Companies and the Roc Solid Foundation. This act aims to bring joy and hope to McKenna and her family during a challenging time.
McKenna’s diagnosis of pleuropulmonary blastoma (PPM) has deeply impacted her family, requiring extensive hospital stays and treatments. Despite the hardships, the family is supported by the community and now, by the gift of the playset, restoring a sense of normalcy and childhood joy to McKenna’s life amidst her battle with cancer.
