True Carey-Hardin of Niles McKinley High School wins Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Carey-Hardin received 37% of the more than 84,000 votes. Basketball coach Jesse Hardin, Jr. said Carey-Hardin coming from having no varsity experience until his junior year to having a breakout senior year speaks volumes to his dedication to the game.
