A local teacher is a part of a contest for America’s Favorite Teacher, with proceeds supporting the Planetary Society. Adrian Wymer, a math and science teacher at General Sherman Junior High School, is in the running. According to americasfavteacher.org, the winning teacher will win $25,000, a feature in Reader’s Digest, a trip to Hawaii, and a school assembly with Bill Nye.
