West Central Learning Academy Awarded High Marks From the State of Ohio

LIMA, Ohio-The West Central Learning Academy has received recognition from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for outstanding academic achievement, earning the Exceeding the Standards banner for the last school year. The academy, serving students in grades 9 through 12, offers flexible learning options and a dropout prevention program for students up to 22 years old.

Superintendent Mindy Schulz highlights the significant accomplishment of students exceeding standards despite starting academically behind. The academy also celebrates the success of early graduation, with 15 students meeting state criteria this school year alone. On Friday night, 24 students will graduate from the academy, which typically has around 75 to 80 students per year.
