COLUMBUS, Ohio-Raymor A. Dumas, 44, and Genee N. Dumas, 40, are facing legal charges related to tampering with evidence and obstructing justice in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Imperial Stewart in late September 2023. Genee Dumas was captured on body camera footage allegedly attempting to break her daughter’s cell phone to obstruct the investigation, prompting her daughter’s arrest as well. The case revolves around Stewart’s death during a botched gun purchase, where Michael Bowles, among others, faces severe charges including aggravated murder.
